The small Best agency that became Best Small Business

From the jump, Shift Engage has never tried to be the biggest, loudest or flashiest agency, but we did strive to be the best. Our recognition at the Megafest Northern Region awards in 2 categories, Small Business of the Year and Entrepreneur of the Year was an exceptional acknowledgement to end the year off.

The Megafest Awards recognize regional excellence in Zimbabwe in different government and independent industries, based on performance and peer review. This year’s edition was the first time we participated, so it was an added bonus to win. The thematic focus was on directing business to strengthen Zimbabwe. Often we forget that ethical communications and advertising extend beyond pretty visuals and have a role to play in nation building.

It’s a welcome change, as a behind the scenes supplier, to get to play dress up for a night and be recognized amongst the captains of industry. We’re happy to be recognized as a mega force by Megafest, and look forward to continue creating impactful, meaningful work that uplifts the impression and appeal of brand Zimbabwe.

Our brilliant winning CCO gave a big shout out to the team on the night, further sharing the victory, showing that at its core Shift Engage is about harnessing the brilliance of a creative team for the greater, more creative good.

Our selection as winners further showed that getting down into the thick of work, avoiding industry drama and focusing on delivering measurable returns to clients will surely be rewarded in the long run, and most importantly, that you can get BIG ideas from the smallest team…and we’re just getting started.
